The parish church of St John the Baptist is shown from the north-east. One of the finest medieval churches in Dorset, with an outstanding decorated roof and Turberville family effigies, the tower (top) and Morton Chapel (centre) were added in the 16th century. The North Aisle (right of centre) was rebuilt in the 14th century.
