More about this scene
This hotel was notable for its Art Deco design. This stretch of the coast developed long after Blackpool; with the coming of the tram system, there was much rivalry to purchase land for hotels, hydros and houses. The Bispham cum Norbreck Ratepayers Association and Gynn Estate residents were vocal in the early 1900s about gas supply and cliff erosion.
