I used to go down to Bosh nearly every weekend in the early 1980s, all the way from Warrington, with a few mates to go fishing. I grew up in the area and often visited as a child. One particular memory is of ordering a pot of tea for four - it was so big my Dad couldn't lift it and the cheese on the sandwiches was about an inch thick - delicious! Since moving away to London, I try and visit every time I come home and ALWAYS order an iced slice - the best cakes in the world & I live in fear of the day they're gone! See you soon Auntie Vi!
