Although much of St Peter's church dates from as recently as the 14th century, there are signs of a much earlier church on the site. Above the doorway is a really beautiful, very early carving of St Peter, complete with his set of keys.

I was born in the flat at the stables in 1965 and visited the family in the house at the stables regularly as I was growing up. It is a beautiful place that holds lots of memories.
