More about this scene
It is remarkable that the Town Hall still almost totally blocks the town's High Street. It was built in 1652. Francis Moore, whose 'Old Moore's Almanac' is still published every year, was born in Bridgnorth. His first almanac was called Vox Stellarum (Voice of the Stars) and was published over 300 years ago.
