Bridport, West Street 1927

More about this scene
This is a view looking eastwards up West Street, along the south side from the Sun Hotel (right) to the Town Hall cupola. Lime trees (left) have been pruned into mop-head lollipops, confirming that this is a winter photo, which also explains the heavy clothing. Cars are becoming more common, with a Standard 9 being the closest vehicle.
