Caption for Bristol, Ye Llandoger Trow C1950: King Street still retains many 17th and 18th century buildings, despite attempts by the Luftwaffe to destroy them. Here we see the Llandoger Trow Inn, whilst a little way down the street is the Theatre Royal, home of the Bristol Old Vic since 1946.
