More about this scene
Buckden is beautifully situated under Buckden Pike, which soars to 2,302 feet above the village and provides a fine viewpoint across Wharfedale. This view of Ivy Cottage, which is offering accommodation, luncheon, tea and morning coffee and paintings by Arnold Denby, also shows the 'scars' of the limestone terracing which punctuate the surrounding hillsides.
