Hornbeam Road
A Memory of Buckhurst Hill.
Having accidentally found this forum today, and added a few memories of Queens Road toy shop. I have now had some time to read most of the contributions. There are so many memory joggers here from the likes of David Killen and fishing in the Roding and other waterholes in Knighton Woods. The artist in Knighton Woods, and the staff at the primary school. I was expectantly working down the stories hoping to see a name I would remember. Marian Skinner rings a bell, and having lived in Hornbeam Road, firstly a prefab at number 10 and later a house at number 66, I thought I would know Rosemary Collinson who states she lived there. But that surname I don't know. I shall continue to monitor this forum for further nostalgia. Thanks to all contributors!
