Why are these different? All 300,000 photographs in The Frith Collection have been scanned, but as the photos were taken over a 110 year period on a wide range of glass & film negatives, using different photographic processes, every image has to be checked and optimised, before we make a print for a customer.

I moved to Cam from London in 1965. I was ten years old. In1971 I moved to Saskatchewan. A move I thoroughly detested. In Cam the world was at my feet and I was so happy. After two years in Saskatchewan I went back but it was never the same. I rode my bike everywhere. I would stay out untill the street lights came on. I cannot think of a time when I was unhappy. I'd like to ask if anyone knows of a brush factory in Cam which must date back about 100 years or more. I have a clothes brush which is in perfect condition and bears the title "WORKMAN Bros. Ltd. Cam. Glos." This brush was in my grandmother's possession and I have an idea that she was somehow connected or related to the maker. As I am now 83 years old, the brush is probably 100 years old or more. Can anyone ...see more
MY MEMORY IS OF MY FIRST VISIT TO ENGLAND TO SEE MY MUMS' HOME VILLAGE.THE YEAR WAS 1967.SHE WAS BORN IN CAM IN 1923. SHE MET MY DAD DURING WW11, AND MARRIED IN HER FATHERS GARDEN .SHE THEN CAME TO THE USA WHERE I WAS BORN. TODAY SHE IS 85 AND LIVING HERE IN EAST BRUNSWICK,NJ.USA.
