We are looking in the same direction, only this time the view is taken from lower down the road, and shows the fine villas very much associated with the town. The arrival of the railway in 1878 was one of the reasons for its growth. Charles Raleigh Knight, who constructed the road in 1880, lived in Frimley Park, and it was he who was responsible for the development of Camberley.
