A Memory of Carshalton.

It's been years since I have seen this photo. I can remember a market there, also a cafe where in them days of the 1960's was where people would listen to music and drink coffee. Anyone remember?

Do you mean the Cross Keys cafe? I remember going upstairs to sit on chairs set along the wall and listen to the music. Downstairs was the cafe where we all met regularly. So long ago!

was 6 months old when I went on the estate and lived on and off until well into my 50's so have many memories. The old Sainsburys and the market on a Saturday. Woolies to get presents for`Christmas and Winchcombe was my school
