More about this scene
We are looking down the main shopping area to the old Market Hall, which was partly demolished in 1992. The shell remains as a walkway through to Carlton Street, and it stands next to the 1905 Carnegie Library. This scene has changed little in forty years, apart from being pedestrianised in 1994.
