Anyone remember THE WOODSTOCK , my friends and I used to go dancing there. We used to have such great times 1968 - 1970. There was Me Jackie, Tania Davy, Eileen Fisher, Nigel , Robert. I remember a song Knock on Wood. Such memories. I cannot remember Roberts's last name, hoping he sees this and gets in touch, we lost contact in 1970 , we were such good friends,He worked with my Dad Albert at Champions's Timber New Malden.
I lived on the London Road, opposite Nonsuch Park until I was 19 years old, half way between North Cheam and Ewell Village. If you check the map this is Malden Road, not Maldon Road, and this photo is North Cheam not Cheam (Village), a short bus ride away from Cheam itself as I recall. I lived at The Gables 22 park road cheam in 1950 to 1955 went to Ambleside school oppisite the red lion pub, the Fair came once a year to our road great fun with the galloping horses and playing All I want is Music
Hi does anyone remember the turning off of gander green lane that had a church on the corner and next to that was a builders yard which had a house and next to that was big blue gates with I think fowler was the name across them the house was named Ottawa I would like to hear from anyone that remembers this place, I use to live in the house with my three children in sixty,s also if anyone remembers the yard Forman Albert Clark Email address is freddy1212@virginmedia.com thank you.BerylClark
