This is New Hall, built to designs by Rex Hunter; the foundation stone was laid in June 1929. It was originally called the Tercentenary Hall, but as this is a bit of mouthful, it quickly became renamed New Hall by the boys. It was a part of a great expansion of the school during the 1930s.
