My Grandmother

A Memory of Chudleigh.

my grandmother was born in Chudliegh one of fourteen children her name was louie potter she died when I was very young a long time ago ,but my mother went to Chudliegh lots of times while we were holidaying in Torquay with my aunt and uncle my aunt was born in chudliegh her name was betsy potter. I loved going to visit relatives in Chudliegh . my grandmother came to wales as a young married woman to visit her sisters one was called mary who I later came to know my grandfather was quite taken with wales and he and my grandmother decided to set up home in wales . hopefully things improving I am hoping to visit Chudliegh later this year .I love looking at the old photos of Chudliegh and remember the monument in the square thank you for sharing them Sheila morgan
