West Side

A Memory of Clapham.

I have many fond memories of Clapham. I lived in West Side and walked the common every day. I went to St Marys, Clapham as an infant and then the Holy Family Convent, Tooting. We had lots of friends in Clapham and would love to hear from them.

Sounds familiar. I went to St Mary's from '64 to '68. Headmaster was Mr Coleman. The Transport Museum and Clapham Manor baths were still open nearby and there was a WW2 bomb site near the school. I then went on to St Gerard's, 68' to '72, opposite the Windmill pub. I also walked the common daily. Sadly, the school was demolished for flats, but lives on in my memory.
im looking for any one that lived in Stonehouse Street in the 1960
