More about this scene
Ingleborough Cave is one of the major show caverns of the Yorkshire Dales. We are in the iron-gated entrance passage, looking out from inside the cave. This is the section which was dynamited in 1837 to open out the show-cave now so popular with visitors, who have to walk a mile up from the village to reach it.
