I have recently come upon a hand-written exercise book of poems, mostly signed by M.J.McL, but who, in one of the poems, also refers to being a 'Hunter'.   The titles of the poems are as follows:-  New Crankie Brae  :  The Cloker  :  The (Calibar) Academy (72 verses)  :  Evening Classes  :  December 1942  :  January 1943  :  The Gale  :  Simpson Drive  :  Last poem is unnamed.

The handwriting, in ink, is beautiful!
