The Paper Works (Manufacturers) On The Edgeware Road In Colindale

A Memory of Colindale.

I am trying to find out the name of the Paper Manufacturing Company that had a big works on the Edgeware Road which was there in late 1930's but probably after the bombing moved nearer London as it was I believe owned by my Grandfather but we can not find out what the company name was.
Does anyone remember their older generation family talking about it, or even working there?
The Managing Director (and possible owner) was Robert Nelson (Dick) Wright and it passed on to his son Harry Wright after the move.
Can anyone can help, I would be so grateful for any slight hint!
Thank you
Carol Smith-Tavinor

This is so interesting. I lived in Colindale between around 1948 to 1981, and have a memory of a printing works in the Colindale area but not a paper manufacturing company per se. If the actual part of the Edgeward Road could be more specific I would like to help.
A little more description would help, which side of Edgware Rd? was it at a road junction? I recall a works on the east side at the junction with Colindeep Lane opposite Windovers on the west side. I think it was something to do with paper, two names Evitt or Everet and Nevett, but it's a long time ago.
