More about this scene
Two miles south of Congleton stands Little Moreton Hall, a magnificent moated manor house, originally built in the mid-15th century by Sir Richard de Moreton and added to by successive generations of his family. As with many houses of this period there is a secret room; the difference at Little Moreton is that a second secret room exists. It is beneath the moat.
