Corfe Mullen, The Old Mill c.1960

More about this scene
In contrast to the rest of Corfe Mullen, the lower part of the village around St Hubert's Church has changed very little, and the Old Mill even less. It has not ground corn for several decades, of course, and was a tea room before becoming a private house. The Domesday Book reveals that there was a mill here in William the Conqueror's time.
