The parish church of this re-modelled village dates back to Norman times and has a 13th-century font. Its interesting chandeliers were designed by Sir Clough Williams- Ellis, who is best known for creating the famous Welsh village of Portmierion.

This is a beautiful little church, well worth the walk to get to it. My great-great-great grandfather is buried in the church yard and I went there in 2004, with my mother when she came home for what was to be her last visit. She died a short two years later from a muscle neuron disease and the wonderful memories I have of that trip and the beautiful places we visited are a blessing.
