A Memory of Croft-on-Tees.

I stayed in a children's home for a short time - late 50s, not sure exact date. Does anyone know of this home and if it still exists.

I stayed at children home in croft in 1952 and 1954 when I was 7and 8years old I remember the nurse slept in the dorm making sure we were all safe the black out blinds were still used at windows, if I remember right there was a farm at the back of the home,,, great memory, was from Sunderland. So quite a way from my home
