A Memory of Dalkey.
During my anual visit to Dalkey many years ago I remember climbing on the green bank at the top of my grandparents Rd then Tram Terrace falling off cutting my head quite badly.
The lady from the boot mender wrapped me up took me home and lent my Mum the money for the cab to a dentist in Cabinteely-don't know why I had to go there were there no dentists in Dalkey.
We go back every year-no green bank now Tram Terrace renamed but they can't take away the memories.
