Sparked a Memory for you?

If this has sparked a memory, why not share it here?

My Aunt and Uncle i do believe had a habadashery shop in Dalton in Furness. I am going back to the 50s or 60s. Their names were Ann and Kenneth Jennings. My cousins Anne and Peter i have been trying to locate. They would most probably be approx. 70ish i would think. I have been living in Australia for the last 50 years and wondered if anyone knew of them or their whereabouts. Hazel Jennings
I'm wondering if anyone knew any members of the Waiting and Kendall families who lived and worked in this area, Robert Kendall worked in the iron ore mines, as did many of the menfolk, also farmed. Many were married and buried in the local Church. Love to hear any history about them. My thanks!
My great great uncle must have been well known to many a Daltonian. His name was Jonty Harper and he was commissionaire at the Roxy picture house in Market Street. He is believed to have been quite a stern man and didn't appreciate anyone getting in without paying. If anyone else can add to this it would be nice to hear your memories of him.
my great grandfather was James Simpson Blair who had his business in Dalton and celebrated his 100yrs in the 1990s. Does anyone remember it or is there any family out there. I am writting about him for college and need help, thanks.
