Castle Lea B&B Gladstone Road
A Memory of Deal.
Does anyone remember this B&B, located at No.2 Gladstone Road? It was run by two guys, Bryan & Michelle, one of whom was a fabulous cook. We stayed there several times back in the 70s. Wonderful hospitality! I often wonder what happened to Bryan and Michelle.

I use to have a news paper round along Gladstone Road in the 1970's.My news paper sack would become lighter and lighter as i approached the very end of Gladstone Road where Castle Castle Lea B&B was situated, even though many years ago i clearly remember walking up the steps there and delivering my last three papers in my bag,The Times, Guardian and daily mirror with a view of Deal Castle to one side and on a Thursday the distant sound of the Royal Marines band playing. Anyway don't know if its that relevant but good memories for me.
