Events In 1903
A Memory of Doncaster.
Hi just wondering if anyone out there has any knowledge of an event that took place in Doncaster, on the 11th of June 1903, for the reason that my mum has inherited a necklace off her late mum, the charm is gold, and on the front what looks like the letter m, the inscription on the back say's, winner of the Doncaster liberal club, 1903 on the 11th June, 10 mile handicap, and it gives the time it took for the race, its my presumption that this necklace is what was presented to the winner, it would be great to find out more about what this was, and indeed a possible name to whom this winner could have been, any information would be gratefully received, thankyou for taking the time to read this message and hope to hear from anyone who may be able to help.
