Looking across the lake in St Stephen's Green to the portico of the Royal College of Surgeons. It was designed by Edward Parke in 1806 and completed in 1829. During the Easter Rising of 1916 it was captured by the insurgents led by Constance Markievicz, and it still bears bullet marks on its columns.
