These dramatic falls are hidden in the depths of Dungeon Ghyll in Great Langdale, and are seldom visited by car-bound tourists. The falls are caused by the waters of the Dungeon Ghyll, which rises on the Langdale Pikes above, and crashes through this tiny gorge of sheer-sided rocks.
