Dyserth Quarry Explosion

Hi, yes I remember it clearly I was. Pupil at the school at the time - it was such a frightening experience. I would have been about 9 at the time, and my older brother was 10. He was in Mr Thomas' class . He was very lucky as he had just stood up in order to speak to the teacher when a boulder landed on his chair! Our poor parents were running to the school without quite knowing what they were facing.
