Falmouth, Church Street c.1950

More about this scene
Always bustling with shoppers, Falmouth's main thoroughfare turns to the right here at the church to continue along Arwenack Street. What a pleasure it must have been to walk down the middle of the street without the worry of a constant stream of traffic. The substantial stone facade of Lloyds Bank contrasts with the neighbouring shops.
