More about this scene
The Old Town Hall, in the Market Square, was built as a market hall in the late 17th century. A magistrate's court was held on the first floor, and the ground floor was used as a lock-up. Today it acts as the town's war memorial. The notice below the road direction sign in front of the building reads: 'Radcot Road impassable to Queen Mary type vehicles'. Neither of the signs is there today.
