More about this scene

The parish of Frant lies on the forest-ridge approximately 180 metres above sea level, and overlooks landscapes in both Kent and Sussex. The origin of its name suggests a former wilderness or desert. The houses on the left are typical of the Wealden style, and H Kemp's Stores and Post Office still exist.
