More about this scene

The oldest cottages in Frodsham are those on The Rock, in other words on the highest land in what was once predominately very marshy terrain. It was on high groudn such as this that the earliest settlers in the region established their homes. Frodsham sits at the northern end of a ridge that extend all the way to Shropshire.

Sparked a Memory for you?

If this has sparked a memory, why not share it here?

We used to go down the rock on our home made trolleys on a Saturday afternoon to the Grand Cinema to watch stuff like; Hoppalong Cassidy, Roy Rogers, Flash Gorden and the Three Stooges. They were the good old days, no street corner yobs and muggers, life was great then, pity it ain't like that now.
