Frome, Christ Church Street West 1957

More about this scene
This view shows how the street had a mixture of commerce and private residences. In the distance stands the ancient Pack Horse Inn. The ivy-clad house is now the Conservative Club, whilst the shops remain relatively unchanged. On the right is South Parade; the notice above directs us to Sheppards Barton Chapel.
