My grandad came from gamlingay and had connections to the spotted cow pub? His name was Walter Norman. He was injured during the first world war and came to alkborough, north lincolnshire to recuperate. He met and married elsie gaunt. They had two children Stan and Raymond Victor. My dad Raymond Victor (known as Vic) was born in 1919 and diedin 1987. I would be really interested to hear any information about his family.
I think there were 2 Norman families in or around the area. I'm not familiar with any names you have posted? The children who i know of were as above,Ronald,Elsie,Victor,Mark and Olive. I know their mother died and i think the father sadly committed suicide?
