Children's Care Home Gomersal.

A Memory of Gomersal.

Will the guy who was in this home in the early 1940's please get back in touch with me regarding the photographs he said he had as I lost contact details. Thanks in anticipation.

I remember the Gomersal childrens home. I once went there with my auntie and cousin about 35 years ago. I think my auntie was taking them some clothes. I was about 10years old and remember the children saying hello and looking happy.
The care home was in Little Gomersal and in fact is still there as a private residence. It was the Sailors, Army and Air Force home basically for children of serving men and women during the 1939-1945 war.
