Mugleston Traction Engine
A Memory of Greensted.
Can you help please? I own a Traction engine manufactured by Aveling and Porter. This was supplied to Robert Bakewell, Mugleston, Copthall Green near Waltham Abbey in 1872. Then sold in an auction at Stondon Hall near Ongar in 1883. Mr Mugleston also lived at Littlebury Hall, Stanford Rivers. Does anybody know anything about the Traction engine or Mr Mugleston.
