The cobbled areas to the sides of the road remain an attractive feature today, although they are usually covered in motor cars. Behind one of the nearer trees on the left stands the tall Methodist chapel, built in 1907 originally as a Primitive Methodist place of worship. Close by to the left of the chapel stands the Kings Head Inn - an interesting neighbour!
