Much of the Farm Management Course I studied in Devon in the early 1970s was based on work done at Rothamsted. I felt very lucky to land a job here in 1975 and gradually to meet and even work with the authors of text books I had studied. I worked in the instrument workshops as a draughtsman in the early 70's. Names I recall are: Brian Edwards, Dave Forder, Ron Turnpenny, Dave Clay and Don Burns.
