This view of the village on the hill from Hebden Road is dominated by the two big mills, the Ivy Bank Mills on the left and Bridgehouse Mill in the foreground. The rectangular building on the left was the Drill Hall, around which beetroot boiling took place. Over to the right are the railway station and the old corn mill.
