More about this scene
A walk up the hill takes the visitor back a hundred years. The older corner shops, at one time serving locals with groceries and hardware, are even in 1955 being used for tourist attractions such as antiques. The antiques shop was previously used by the Bronte Society as a museum from 1895. Books and postcards of the literary sisters are on sale at the Haworth Post Office.
