I remember being with my family at Craigendoran station to get on the Jeannie Deans steamer. My father worked at that station and waved as we left the pier. Good times. It is always good to remember the past but I don't think it was all great. There were more shops, that is something that has changed and also something that needs addressing. i went to school at the hermitage acadamy for about a year because my dad was in the navy at the time stationed at rosneath. my parents and i used to walk along the seafront and have tea and ice cream in tony,s ice cream parlour. there are wonderful views over the gareloch here ,you can see rosneath point from the front.
