All 300,000 photographs in The Frith Collection have been scanned, but as the photos were taken over a 110 year period on a wide range of glass & film negatives, using different photographic processes, every image has to be checked and optimised, before we make a print for a customer.

As a Londoner, when my new husband was offered a job in Great Yarmouth in 1964, I was excited, although a bit apprehensive about moving to the small village of Hemsby. We bought a brand new house in a new subdivision at Two Meadows. It backed onto the railway line. I think it was later called Meadow Rise. I was 19. Are any of these cottages still there, I see from photo's some fell into the sea. Would love to relive childhood memories of staying in these as a child in the early 1960's
Many happy memories of staying in a few of the beach cottages in the dunes in the early 1960's , I have a picture of myself my mother and brother outside a little cottage called 'Shalimar' I must have been only 10 at the time. Holidays there were always happy times.
Having spent many happy holidays in Hemsby, my friend Avril and I decided to sign up for a season in Seacroft, we were just 18 and up for what was then an adventure away from home. It was a very happy time, we made many friends with both other waitresses and campers.
