More about this scene
Holy Trinity Church, built in 1835, has been whitewashed in recent years. Other improvements have been made too. The tree cover at the front is quite dense now, so much so that little of the building is visible from the road. Holy Trinity was built by the vicar of nearby Hampstead Norreys who was the personal chaplain to Queen Adelaide, the wife of William IV.
