More about this scene
This row of terraced labourers` cottages lies opposite Hilton Village Hall, previously the school, and adjacent to the maze. On the left is Douglas Cottage, then the plainly named No 2, and the last house on the right is Green Cottage. Since the photograph was taken, there has been some rebuilding to the house on the right behind the fine razor-edged Triumph Renown motor-car, and a garage has been constructed at Douglas Cottage. But apart from a few new trees, little else has changed.
