More about this scene
This splendid photograph of this beauty spot was taken from a point on what is now called Witton Weavers Way, the Beamers Trail in picturesque Witton Park close to Blackburn. In the shadow of Woodcock Hill with the River Darwen flowing beneath, the viaduct also spans the valley floor with its wealth of mature trees. Pleasington Priory and Billinge Hall are within reach further along the 6-mile trail.
