Hi I was born in 1963 in Hogsthorpe and went to the primary school in Thames Street, I remember some amazing times in Hogsthorpe helping my Mum and Dad in the fish and chip shop rumbling the potato's with Ted Hall and going out with my dad delivering fresh fish in the old Bedford van. I am trying to trace a family the name i have been given is David Ramsdon my father is Edward Hall he suffers with Dementia but during a chat he recalls been evacuated to Hogsthorpe and staying with this man and his wife. He recalls the man was the local plumber does anyone have any information that would help me in my search please. Thankyou

I have a memory of Hogsthorpe on already as I attended the village school. I now have in my possession a postcard showing Sivells Mill and I cannot find out where Sivells Mill was in Hogsthorpe.
