Many Years Ago

A Memory of Hounslow.

When I was about 5 or so, I ended up here by ambulance suffering from double pneumonia. I gave my watch to the boy in the bed next to mine because I thought he was in a worse shape than me! Nice to see the fresh air doors in the end patio section again after all these years.

remember the hospital well.Had my tonsils out there in 1955.My mum was allowed to bring eggs and jam for me.Terry Ransom

Probably my first memory was being in Hounslow Hospital. I think I was 2 years old (1950) I was in a cot and was throwing a soft toy back and forth with another child. It was such a nostalgic building and very sad when it was demolished
